We are selecting 15 jobseekers to participate in a three years apprenticeship programme to obtain the diploma as Geriatric Assistant in Germany.
The Geriatric Assistant supports and takes care of elderly people, helping them in their everyday activities, such as eating, getting dressed, taking care of their body. She/he speaks with them about personal issues, motivates them to participate in activities during their free time and brings them to their administrative and medical meetings, collaborating with family members.
The Geriatric Assistant has therapeutic and health assistance tasks such as bandage dressing, bathing and drug delivery.
Apprenticeship programme:
The selected candidates will participate in an intensive German language course, available on-line with three days face-to-face meetings in Rome every month. They will relocate to Germany at the beginning of 2019 and follow a three years apprenticeship programme.

To participate in the selection procedure you must register on the platform “Lavorare e formarsi in Europa” inside Capitale Lavoro website. Once you have registered your personal data and uploaded the requested documentation, you must fill in a participation request and send it through the guided procedure inside the website.
Participation requests must be sent before the 16th of May.

Pre-selected candidates will be invited to participate in a first motivational interview at Porta Futuro, Rome, on the 21-22 May 2018.
